Decanter World Wine Awards 2023

Pitticco is confirmed, with the wines of the 2020 vintage, at its third participation in the most important wine competition in the world; the "Decanter World Wine Awards".

International experts tasted 18,250 wines from 57 countries, and Friuli Venezia Giulia confirmed its rapid growth, with increasingly recognized native red wines. In particular the Schioppettino di Prepotto, and Pitticco is still a protagonist with excellent company. A pride that represents the affirmation of the Friuli's Colli Orientali, and in particular of Prepotto, as a land of great red wines.

The 2020 Schioppettino di Prepotto is a wine with "engaging dark cherry, blueberry and herbal notes with a full, juicy texture, velvety tannins and a bright acid lift". Silver medal with 93 points

The Rosso "Migale” Riserva 2020, a blend of Refosco dal Peduncolo Rosso, Schioppettino and Tazzelenghe, is a wine with "vibrant cassis, red plums and spice with grippy, fine tannins, a red cherry acidity and a long, fresh finish". Silver medal with 92 points
