SCHIOPPETTINO DI PREPOTTO
Our Schioppettino di Prepotto is the most representative wine of the Eastern Hills.
It is made from bunches of large, crunchy grapes. In particular, Pitticco's Schioppettino comes from vines that are over 15 years old, giving the wine a rare elegance.
Balanced in its fragrances and flavours, it is the utmost expression of the terroir that creates it.

Vinification and aging
The wine ages for 18-20 months in French oak barrels, carefully selected. After this, a further aging process takes place in the bottle.

Pairings
Excellent with red meats and skewers, but also with medium-mature cheeses.
It is also at its best when paired with fish stew.

Serving temperature
Best served at 16-18 degrees, and we recommend leaving it to decant in the glass for a few minutes, in order to taste its extremely elegant hints of forest fruits, subtle spicy notes and the lively freshness that makes it so easy to drink.
