The name Migale comes from the combination of the names of Sergio and Erika's children: Michele, Gaia and Leonardo.
A combination of characters and character that provided inspiration for this blend of Refosco dal Peduncolo Rosso, Schioppettino and Tazzelenghe.
Three traditional reds from Friuli Venezia Giulia, which together create a balanced, pleasing wine. After drinking, the palate is left clean and smooth, ready for another pleasant taste.
Vinification and aging
The wine ages for 18-20 months in French oak barrels, carefully selected. After this, a further aging process takes place in the bottle.
Perfect paired with delicately cooked red meats, but also exceptional when paired with more challenging dishes.
Also exceptional with meat-based pasta and rice dishes, or drunk as an aperitif as an accompaniment to blue cheeses or mature cheeses.
Best served at 16-18 degrees, and we recommend leaving it to decant in the glass for a few minutes, in order to appreciate all its nuances - including the freshest ones, which are characterised by hints of red berries. An extraordinary wine to be enjoyed with pleasure right from the first vintage.
